I sometimes wonder if the zombies are actually eating humans at all. There are brain parasite that "take control" of the host's brain in order to reach the next stage of its lif-cycle. Could it be possible that whatever infects a human to turn it into a zombie then makes it bite a healthy person to spread the disease? I did always wonder in zombie movies why there are so many relatively intact zombies running around when they are eating the humans. If it is simply a matter to spreading the infection rather then eating maybe they bite anything that looks remotely human, even if it is another zombie.

Well , when you are zombiefied , your physicaly stronger. A zombie is about 4 times stronger than a regular human. And plus they're freakin zombies that want brains , so they will find a way to open someones brain.

      peace out

That is a REALLY good question. I could definitely see this being explained as part of the effects of the zombie virus - maybe your teeth and throat are kept intact like certain parts of your brain while the rest of your body rots, since you need them to keep chomping on people. It is really weird that I've never seen a zombie in a movie without any teeth. (Actually, I've always wondered what it would be like for an old person without any teeth left to become a zombie!)

actually your half right about the human skull being gnaw proof. the skull can be pentrated if enough force is applied thru the bite. When I was in a car wreck I was in the back seat behind the driver. his car slid into a tree and thru me forward next thing I knew it was nom nom nom right on the back of his head, he had to go to the hospital where the docter was weirded out by the two front teeth marks going into his skull.

This is an epic conversation. I love this website.

I'd go with Cellcat, though I also like Zoghrob's explanation of the pain numbing effects.

OK, you can silence a .22 very easily, just put an empty plastic bottle on the end of the barrel and fix with tape.
You wont even hear a thing for the first 5-10 shots. It works.
I would recommend being all sneaky on a roof top covered in a sheet or covered by a cardboard box so the life-challenged individuals can't see me, and just change out your soda bottle every 5-10 shots or as required.
Bring a picnic lunch, sun cream and some full soda bottles and you got yourself a fun day out for the kids :)

Hi "Keefus," you could say five positive things about anything and it wouldn't mean that thing was worth risking a zombie bite. For example, here are 5 reasons you should have a shark nearby if you're fighting a zombie. 1) Sharks have big teeth. 2) Sharks are awesome. 3) Sharks could bite a zombie. 4) Sharks have a whole week named after them. 5) Sharks are from the ocean.

See how that doesn't necessarily mean you need a shark?

Close combat is never a good idea if you can avoid it. You never know when a whole swarm of zombies will come around the corner, block your exit, and eat your face. I rest my case. Read it and weep.
